  19. * Control other instances of RiadaCartel or other Rio products from within the same HTML page. For example, when the user clicks on one RiadaCartel object, it can tell another to change its message.

  25. To install RiadaCartel, extract all files from the zip distribution file. Execute "setup.exe", and follow the instructions to complete the installation.

  31. Potential Browser Problems
  32. --------------------------
  33. Due to security issues, you may exerience problems viewing your RiadaCartel projects, especially when previewing them. These problems are due to the way some browsers implement the security of Java code executing on the local machine. The problem may manifest itself when reading resources (ie font files), by throwing a Security exception within the browser.

  35. While this problem is annoying (and outside the control of Riada), it does not effect the behaviour of the project when running across the Internet.

  37. Microsoft Internet Explorer Issues
  38. ----------------------------------
  39. Some beta versions of Microsoft's Internet Explorer introduced problems with some common controls into Windows 95.  If you experience problems with tool bars (or other Windows 95 controls) using RiadaCartel (or other products), and you have previously used a beta version of Explorer, then you may need to get an updated Internet Explorer, or alternatively, contact Microsoft regarding solutions to this problem.

  41. Sun's appletviewer
  42. ------------------
  43. Occasionally, when previewing using appletviewer, you may experience the appletviewer hanging after exiting from RiadaCartel, or that your audio fails to work after using it. Check out the latest version of appletviewer to see if this problem has been rectified. This problem is not an issue when running through a browser.
